Scotland’s Suzy Duffy grew up surrounded by soul, funk and disco music from the 70's. Growing up listening to Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Commodores, Gladys Knight,  and the Jacksons played by her five older sisters gave her the soulful experience to become the vocalist that she is today. 

Some of her earliest memories singing and recording were at the mere age eight singing along to 'Reunited' and 'I will survive' on a tape recorder. 

By age nineteen, Suzy's first professional studio experience became a reality recording backing vocals in Glasgow....she never looked back...

While attending Perth 'Rock Music College', professional songwriter Thom Hardwell heard a rough demo which inspired him to ask Suzy to record a professional demo that he had penned. This recording led to the recording contract she soon signed with ZTT Records. During  this time with Suzy, Thom Hardwell and producer Ian Morrow wrote a number of incredible songs.  Out of this collaboration, the Acid Jazz hit "Look me Over" and some songs she had recorded or co-written were later released by Lisa Stansfield (Lay Your Hands On Me) Svala (Wonder Of My World) Jennifer Love Hewitt (In Another Life).

Suzy took a hiatus from the music industry until 2008 when she joined Myspace and reintroduced the world to her gifted voice. Recording songs with recognised producers around the world Hen Boogie, Lemongrass and Aphreme, Suzy quickly regained her musical momentum.

The culmination is her first official full length release "Truth Vol. 1" released August 2012 & available to buy now at most online music stores. Vol. 2 to be released late 2012 which encompasses all of the class, beauty and soul of this talented vocalist. Listeners can look forward to the beginning of the magnificence of Suzy Duffy for years to come as her vocal style and songwriting embody all that is missing in music today.
